Basis Weight, thickness, width and moisture level measurements for thin and flexible web materials, in Roll-to-Roll (R2R) processes, are crucial elements that play a central role in ensuring the quality and performance of materials used in various industries. All measurements are done thanks to Marposs’ non-contact and radiation-free technologies (Ultrasonic, Confocal, Interferometer, Laser Micrometre) for in-line control of coating, calendaring, extrusion and laminating operations of materials in the converting industry.
