SOLVENT RECOVERY UNITS (SRU): also known as Solvent Recovery Plants (SRP) or Solvent Recovery Systems (SRS), are employed in solvent-based manufacturing processes to control air emissions of solvents (VOCs Volatile Organic Compounds and HAPs, Hazardous Air Pollutants from solvent-laden air or vapor). Solvent Recovery Units (DEC.SRU™) are designed to meet the stringent regulatory requirements pertaining to VOC air emissions. Volatile Organic Compounds, emitted during various industrial processes, contribute significantly to air pollution and are subject to strict environmental controls. The DEC.SRU™ acts as a robust solution for industries seeking to minimize their environmental footprint by efficiently capturing and recovering these VOCs. By incorporating advanced technologies, DEC Solvent Recovery Unit ensures that the released air is within permissible limits, aligning with environmental regulations: this not only helps industries comply with stringent VOC emission standards but also promotes a cleaner and healthier environment for surrounding communities, while saving up to 90% on solvent costs.
OXIDIZERS (XTO): Thermal oxidizers (also known as thermal oxidisers or thermal incinerators) are air pollution control devices commonly employed in chemical industries: DEC.XTOs™ operate by decomposing hazardous gases, at high temperatures (typically around 590°C to 980°C), releasing the resulting gases into the atmosphere. DEC.XTO™ thermal oxidizers primarily target hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in industrial air streams: these pollutants, typically hydrocarbon-based, undergo thermal combustion, converting them into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) through chemical oxidation.
FLOW OPTIMIZATION: DEC.AFO™ (Advanced Flow Optimization) in drying hoods is crucial for maximizing efficiency, enhancing safety, and minimizing environmental impact in the converting industries: we provide a comprehensive and flexible solution to achieve these goals, empowering industries to optimize their VOC emission control systems and gain a competitive edge in the global market. This includes LEL automatic recirculation systems (DEC.LEL™), rotary bed concentrators (DEC.XBC™), integrated suction control (DEC.ISC™). Drying hoods are essential components of converting processes, removing solvents from materials such as film, paper, and textiles. However, traditional drying hood designs often suffer from inefficiencies, safety hazards, and environmental concerns. These challenges stem from the suboptimal airflow patterns and inadequate control over VOC emissions.
CHEMICAL STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS: Solvents, inks, and resins are all flammable and hazardous materials that require proper storage and handling. Storage tanks and distribution systems for these materials must be designed and constructed to comply with most demanding specific safety standards.
