Re SpA has been designing and manufacturing laminate machining process automation equipment, principally for the converting, paper, corrugated board, cardboard, metal wire, rubber, plastic, textile and non-woven fabrics processing sectors since 1974. 40 years’ experience have aided the company’s international expansion, pursued on the basis of all customers worldwide being offered high standard sales and after-sales services. The company currently boasts a solid, highly organized marketing network linking company headquarters in Bussero (Milan) to the subsidiaries Re China (Shanghai), Re Shilp (Ahmedabad, India) and the latest Re USA (Boston). Substantial investments in R&D, together with the expertise of the company’s engineers, have enabled Re SpA to constantly update its product range in order to meet the requirements of its customers and of a constantly evolving market. Re equipment is used anywhere there is a roll to be wound or rewound, or a laminate to be processed, in order to improve the quality of finished products and to increase productivity.
Re SpA is currently a world leader in the production of pneumatic brakes and tension controllers. Their range of products also includes load cells, electromagnetic powder brakes, web guiding systems to align the web, web viewing systems for the real-time control of printing, expanding shafts and mechanical chucks to handle the winding and rewinding of rolls, and rotary joints to transfer fluids.

Products
The Re SpA controlli industriali product portfolio includes pneumatic brakes, electromagnetic brakes, tension regulators and load cells for the control of the web tension, web guiding systems for the right alignment of the material, printing video inspection systems to check the printing quality, expanding shafts, friction shafts and mechanical core chucks for unwinding and rewinding of the reel.
Brakes and clutches. Core business of the company, these are high quality products, the result of great experience: as demonstrated by the thousands of installations around the world, done in collaboration with leading machine manufacturers. The offer includes pneumatic brakes, electromagnetic powder brakes and pneumatic grippers.
Tension and load cell controllers. For the converting sector, tension control is playing an increasingly important role in the processing of the laminates. The voltage regulators and the load cells of Re SpA ensure, together with the brakes, an extreme precision in the measurement and control of this parameter during the entire process, so as to obtain a high quality finished product, optimizing productivity.
Web guiding systems. During the manufacturing process it often happens that the material does not follow the established path, causing a misalignment in printing or processing. To avoid the problem – while ensuring maximum productivity while reducing waste and downtime – a web guide system needs to be installed that ensures proper belt alignment even at high speeds. Re SpA designs systems able to carry out the edge and center guide of any type of material to be processed.
