Emmeci SpA, today based in Cerreto Guidi (FI), was established in 1974 in Fucecchio as a company specializing in repairing and inspecting industrial machinery.
Between the 1980 and 1990 the company grew by designing and manufacturing innovative machines for the production of rigid cardboard boxes. The high manufacturing quality and reliability of its machinery enabled the Tuscan company to quickly establish itself on the market, first in Italy, then internationally.
Starting from the ‘90 Emmeci Group set up two foreign branch offices: Emmeci Europa Sarl, based in Paris, deals with selling and providing assistance for machinery intended for the European market (excluding Italy); and Emmeci USA L.L.C., based in Providence, RI deals with sales and assistance for machinery bound for the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America. Today Emmeci SpA is still an industry leader in automatic lines for the production of rigid set-up cardboard boxes, and it has also become one of the largest manufacturers of automatic laminating and case-making lines for the production of flat boards and game boards.

Products
Emmeci SpA designs, produces and installs automatic lines and machinery for box-making companies and the paper converting industry, also providing worldwide technical assistance.
In particular, it manufactures lines for the production of rigid set-up cardboard boxes for luxury and non-luxury goods; of a wide range of gift boxes for wines and spirits, shirts and shoes, cosmetics and fragrances, biscuits and confectionery, loose leaf binders, CDs, DVDs, books, etc.; and of cylindrical boxes. In addition, Emmeci designs and manufactures lines for the production of technical flat paper boards such as game boards, display stands, posters and calendars.
Emmeci is world leader in automatic lines for rigid set-up cardboard boxes and is one of the leading manufacturers of automatic laminating and case-making lines for the production of flat boards and game boards. This achievement was made possible by the choice to develop products in-house, according to high quality standards applied across the production process right from the initial design.
The company is structured in two main areas: the Research & Development department employs 2D and 3D CAD engineering systems and can count on the cooperation of university centers; and the production area, which includes a machine tool shop and CAMassisted NC work zones where we manufacture high-technology mechanic component parts. In addition, we also maintain a carpentry area, a painting and burnishing area, an assembly area, and a testing area.
